pilgrim where's you head at?

So yea i'm finally settled here at Ithaca, it's definitly easier than last year. Already it's starting to feel like home, and waking up at 7:30am isn't too bad either. but i no matter what i feel like a piece of my heart is still back home in the city. There's another Stage show coming up in LI , then one in Syracuse, since that one near here i'll try to make that but i doubt it sniff.

last night me and my roomate watched Gilmore Girls and Dead Like Me on my computer, it was fun! it's one of my favorite things to do in college haha. and i love GG and Dead like ME!

i think i need a holiday from myself

this is probably will be last post before i leave for ithaca. yup i'm really leaving. this time i'm not bringing much, so packing wasn't too bad. i still have unpacked boxes from ithaca that i'll bring back and they'll probably stay unpack when i get there.

overall i'm pretty happy about my summer, i went to many great shows, hung out in the city with lindsay a bunch, got a job, got a new cell, camera, printer, and an awesome MP3 player (with recorder...haha bootlegs here i come) plus had many great AIM moments with kim (haha we're dorks).

i wish i don't have to go, already there are shows that i'll be missing. sniff. that's why i really come back on the weekend of 11th and stay till wedesday morning to catch 3 JA shows (northampton, boston, nyc). It'll be awesome if i can pull that off. It will be like the time when i caught the two Wallflower shows in a row while going to school the next morning except this one will be much harder because i have to get back to Ithaca. let's hope it all works out.

now i'm gonna try waking up early and go to Staples then to andy's party, and come back home for some last minute packing.

you'll be alright, in the ocean of my mind

I haven't updated in a while, nothing's been exciting been going on really. i'm going to back to ithaca sunday and i really should be packing.

so someone really nice send me something really amazing that i can't talk about it but all i can say is it really made me day and the maybe months to come. ::SIGH::

I guess i'm ready to go back to school, maybe i'm just trying to make myself feel that but i'm actually excited about going back, there are people that I miss and I like not having take the train to everywhere I go. so i'll be alright.

Speaking of which, I NEED A CAR. the other day i keep thinking of all the show i wouldn't have to miss if i had a car, for example the Ours show a buffalo. It would just make everything so much easier.

I know you're always alone
Looking for someone, a home
Don't wait for me
I'll be allright
In the ocean of your mind
And you'll be allright
in the ocean of my mind

whenever i'm alone with you, you make me feel like...

the past two days was crazy, greyhound to boston, meet up with nina, then the rest of the gang, we eat, chat, then drive an hour to mansfield. hung around for 3 hours before we saw muse/cure. amazing, i'm so glad i went. then drive nina back, went we headed for for albany and stayed at fawns. another 3 hour drive. by the time we got there it was 4am. got up around 10am had breakfast and watched tv...her parents cooked burgers for us. i dont know the whole trip is sorta surreal. being so far away at someone's else house. so different and i don't feel quit like myself. and i guess once in a while that's a good thing.

that's all. i'm tired.

did you give up on the greed? did you give up on it all?

so i've wanting to get this handy stich portable sewing machine once i saw it on TV. which is weird because i never wanted to be one of those people who buy something off TV. But this stuff looks cool. i'm short so a lot of my pants are ripped off at the bottom, and sewing by hand would take forever. this looks perfect. so instead of buying it off TV (which is lame). I checked out ebay (much cooler LOL). Surely enough there's one on sale, i bid on it but someone over bid me while i away.
Now i'm on this mode where i need to get a cool sewing machine. there's so many of them selling on ebay. I saw this vintage 1908 sewing machine, it was beautiful and it was cheap too. I know it's not pratical but i would love to have it. which scares me because i'm becoming one of those people who buy useless stuff on ebay. (out of print joseph arthur stuff doesn't count)

you haven't felt alive since you fell out of my arm

so hold on...

it's almost 4am and i'm jumping from song to song on my playlist...it's such a sad & beautiful song. i'm actually really tired but it's just too hot sleep. i can't find the fan anywhere, and now i'm too lazy to search for it, summer's almost over anyways.

they try to put number on love, they try to put number on life

nothing exciting these days. aka no shows. sniff. but soon i'll be off to boston to see Muse and Cure! yay!

the last few days are passing by really fast, soon i'll be shopping for back to school supplies. oh then there's the process of buying textbooks, which is always a pain.
there are still few unfinished business before i leave:
  • cash all my checks
  • sell unwanted clothes to beacons closet
  • return mel's dvd
  • buy a new printer
  • get my dvd, books, and check back from lindsay
  • go to seaport with kim!

turns out the band jun actually played at Ithaca! who knew any band remotely good played at that town. if i knew of them earlier i would've gone!
