I've been caught in between all you wish for and all you need

my wallpaper right now. It has JA & NYC; my two favorites things in the world. Posted by Hello
The other day Angela gave me the idea for these In the Sun captures. Director Anton Corbijn really did a great job with this video. I plan on capture more clips and make a decent and simple wallpaper.

a fish may love a bird, but where will they live?

---- then I shall make you wings.

Last night Sara took me for a coffee and we had really nice time, plus it was just really nice to get out of the campus once in a while. After I came back, my favorite movie was on TV! It was Ever After! I have the DVD and I know every line in that movie but when it's on TV I can't help it but to watch it again. So that's what i did last night, twice.

Day One finally arrives! The album is another masterpiece in my opinion, along with the artworks. this is my favorite.

terrible Calm, terrible joy.... Posted by Hello

Lot things going on next week. Two exams, one presention and on Thursday... JA @ boston with kim! yay. Then i'll be home for Halloween. I must admit I'm glad to be home for that weekend. I remember going to the city for Halloween there's just no place like that during Halloween. I don't know what I'll be yet, I don't really dress up for Halloween unless i'm going to a place that night.

Looks like I won't be going to the Muse show. tear...but I get to see JA and that's enough. Maybe I'll make it to the webster show? (Kim is a bad influence....JK)

I'm a joke that you'd probably enjoy

yay fall break! but no JA show @ Fez after all. That'd been so awesome.
Possible Up Coming Shows:

  • Oct 28 @ Paradise - Joseph Arthur
  • Dec 10 @ Bowery - Josh Ritter
  • Dec 11 @ Buffalo - Hawksley Workman
  • Dec 16 @ Bowery - Joseph Arthur
I acutally have class/final on all these dates. I'm lucky if I make it to one.

In my heart is a hunger, I'll never give away

Just try and stop from going under
Till the dawn of judgment day
Living at the speed of light
And burning your love on the way
Burning your love away
-JA

oooh what a fun weekend!! I'm so sad it's all over now...sniff. But I came back with pictures, recording and wonderful memories. Friday I got on a bus right after class for city and get to sit next to a cute boy from Binghamton to NYC. I miss the city so much...oh the pretty sky lights and bridges. I didn't sleep at all at home, i stayed up and watch movies, and shows on demand till early morning and had to leave early to run errands.

By the time for me to leave for NJ i was so exhuasted. Thankfully I got some sleep on the train there. First time riding the NJ transit!
Oh we had so much fun on the way there! let me show you pictures!! i get to hear rare slean tracks and talk about JA, which is always fun. =)

almost there... Posted by Hello

It was 3 hour drive but seems shorter...we get there around 7:35pm and there was only about 10 people there in Auditorium. But more people came later, some drove from places like us.
The second JA got on stage I can tell he was really out of it, he seems to tired. But he played beautifully, it was definitly a different vibe. He sang songs a little slow and linger on notes a little more than he usually does. He didn't talk much, he seems pretty much in his own world. I love watching him play, it's like watching a magic show...I'm always in awe of his talent, no matter how many times I see him. Kim and I were just talking how he makes us so happy..and it sounds cheesy but he does! everything about him is so wonderfully unique.
Invisble Hands sounded amazing, it was dark and beautiful, same as All of Our Hands. My only compliant is that the show was only an hour. After the show I had him sign JH #3 (thanks Kim!)
and yay he drew!

one more Junkyard hearts to go. Posted by Hello

Kim talked to Joe a bit, he was barely coherent but we love him just as he is! haha
here are the pictures for the show. I don't know what's going on with the quality, it might've been the setting. We sat in the front middle. (where else??)

After the show, we listened to more great music, including some "covers and old songs''. The trip was so much fun, I couldn't ask for a better concert buddy. I get to stay over at Kim's and I met Kalen! yay! he's such a sweetheart even as he's trying to run away from me. =)

next: JA @ Boston...?? i hope so.

Out in the park,

oooh please tell me i'll never be like that, safe, politely dazed, politely crazed

oooh been super busy. what a week! on top of all the midterms and papers, my arm got infected again and i was a bit sick plus i got hardly any sleep. NOT fun. but i made it through...and it feels good and now for my reward....JA roadtrip with KIM!! I find it so strange he's playing at a Messiah College, I don't know it's so random. Then fall break next wedesday!! yay! i miss the city so much. I have so many things to do. I only wish there's a show during fall break. There's so many shows that I can't attend because of school...and me being under age. I think something is working against me.

so michelle called me last night during the mini Tramp fest downtown, there's no way i could've make it, with all my finals and the show being 21+ But it was really n ice to hear Gingersol play again because I used to go to their show all the time with Doris back when they used to play at brooklyn every week at this really cute bar call Great Lakes....good times.

okay back to studyin for midterm. Last one!
