more stuff to live for...annie came over to visit...new Tori Album and tour! JA annouced new Tour dates! Wallflowers just annouced their new album due out in May 24th! Stage DVD just arrived and Martha Wainwright's *long awaited* first full album out in April! Spring break in two weeks!

Slean is now touring in Canada and what I wouldn't give to see her live again!! She just did a show in Toronto with the perfect setlist. It includes Count me Out *gasp* (I remember almost crying the first time I heard the song at the Knitting Factory show)....Drastic Measures *gasp* ...and the ever so sad..Blue Parade. The show according the reviews were one of her best. She sold out the show and they were scalpers! good for her! LOL. I'm listening to Slean again, her music is filled with her passion and soul. I can just picture her in her cabin ferociously painting, composing, writing...she poured her blood into this album. It's so dramatic but it's why I love her. It's over the top but done with such an unique spirit. You can feel it when you see her live, she's just awe inspiring.

it's another friday night...well saturday morning now.
listening to new tori, it was a good friday night.
had long talk with annie over phone. i told her about my uncontrollable laugher over Melville's "Bartleby" in Lit class. Am I the only one who finds the story so amusing?
Kim and I chatted over AIM just like old times (our wild days!) despite hitting tough times. =/
but in times like these there's always music to soothes the wounds. (or funny JA talking bits "someone get Joan's guitar!" LOL)


One of my favorite photoblogs overshadowed recently took pictures of the Fulton Fish Market in Southstreet Seaport. I was sad to hear the news of their relocation to the Bronx in a few months. Southstreet Seaport is my favorite place in NYC and the fish market is a part of that. I've always had a soft spot for fish markets, I don't know why, I must've been a fisherman or some sort in my past or something. I romanticize fishermans like the way people ramanticize Paris. It's my fairytale.

Classes been keeping me busy the past week, already I feel like work is piling up. I love my museum class, I'm thinking of pursuing this field for grad if I do go.

Emm's new album is awesome, it's all covers but I can hear a hint of Orignial Leap Year in the production. I think she did an execellent job producing it. The bass, guitar and piano sounded fabulous. Running Back, Dearg Doom, Nothing Rhymed and Julie Ocean are among my favorites.

it's been in th 20s here these days...quite a global warming I'll say. I've been walking around campus wearing my spring blazer and scraf. I really hate wearing winter jackets. I think my stubborness has finally earn me the immunity for the cold around here (like many others has)

things been slow around here, snow does that to people I guess.
