august is here and already I felt like my summer is gone. Where has july gone? Between the 2 jobs and shows everyday seems to be all mosh together. I've been feeling "politely dazed" as one of Slean's song says.

Ryan's show everyweek is a good way getting out of that, even just for one night. Ryan's has grown out of his little piano bar at Rockwood, and now he's got a gig opening for Avril Lavigne & Gavin DeGraw (not fan of either but good for him!) I'm thinking of making all my Rockwood recording of Ryan into one complication as some kind of souvenir because it's been such a big part of my summer, and hand it to everyone I've met at the shows. =)

Finally got to see Regina Spektor! She's so adorable, she even makes rapping sounds cute. I didn't really get good pictures but I was able to bootleg the show pretty decently. It's now being shared here.

queer as folk, the series ends tonight. I'm sure to shed some tears.
